StreamSend is one of the more user friendly services that have been reviewed. They offer some great features at competitive pricing.
Highlights:
The most prominent features included a well categorized list of links to help the user navigate through the campaign process.
StreamSend will help to create segmentation reports and has filters that help the user target specific email recipients.
StreamSend also has the ability to integrate with Google Analytics Just about any reports StreamSend doesn’t offer in-house Google should be able to cover. N order to get better acquainted with this feature StreamSend has a few flash tutorials that are helpful if you are utilizing the Google Analytics feature.
StreamSend has something called "filters." With triggers, you can define criteria and then the service will email only to the contacts that meet this criteria. This is an excellent way to target specific members on your list. This is a great feature that not many other email service providers offer.
StreamSend's filter feature will help users target specific members of your emailing list so they can maximize marketing strategies.
Something that they offer that other companies do not are things like multiple account users and advanced API integration. This is a great feature that will save the user time and make their live a lot easier.
Criticism:
Some missing features include a SPAM test and the ability to create email aliases. Additionally, the templates given were a little simple and lacked in its visual presentation compared to the higher ranked services. StreamSend would do better if they added resources like articles and tips about email marketing to improve their use-ability and help their customers with best practices.
When the user submits a support ticket to the support team they are required to fill out a complaint or question twice. This service would be far more efficient if they offered live support. Although they provide a knowledgebase, it seems there wasn’t that much information available.
Making changes to the template is a more trying process than some of the higher ranked services. Changing simple things like color and background can be difficult.
